Description

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • ESR2 is a member of the family of estrogen receptors and superfamily of nuclear receptor transcription factors.
  • ESR2 contains an N-terminal DNA binding domain and C-terminal ligand binding domain and is localized to the nucleus, cytoplasm, and mitochondria.
  • Upon binding to 17beta-estradiol or related ligands, ESR2 forms homo- or hetero-dimers that interact with specific DNA sequences to activate transcription.
  • Some isoforms dominantly inhibit the activity of other estrogen receptor family members.
  • The insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
