Platinum Rhodium foil, 0.05mm (0.002in) thick, 99.9% (metals basis) is used in the glass industry for furnace linings and complex fabrications. It is also used as a plating material. Further, it acts as a catalyst and as a standard for calibration of base metal thermocouples.
