Description

The PlateFuge™ is the first microcentrifuge with a swing-out rotor for microplates and ensures that all reactants are in the bottom of the wells for proper concentrations and improved yields.

  • Accommodates two standard sized microplates
  • Quickly spins down droplets into the well bases
  • Unique swing-out rotor design prevents spillage
  • Half the size of traditional centrifuges.
  • Accepts all popular types of PCR plates (skirted, semi-skirted and non-skirted) and most microtitre plates
  • Plate carriers rest at 75° allowing plates to be inserted confidently without sealing tapes or caps
  • At 600 x g most samples can be spun down in less than 20 seconds
  • To end a run, open the lid and the automatic electric brake brings the rotor to a quick, smooth stop in just four seconds
