Description

The PathHunter™ eXpress Flt3 Activity Assay measures FLT3 receptor tyrosine kinase activity via ligand-induced SH2 domain protein recruitment. eXpress kits contain all assay materials: cells, reagents, and plates.

The PathHunter™ FLT3 Activity eXpress kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study small molecule drug candidates targeting RTKs. This kit assesses RTK activation via detection of resulting FLT3 phosphorylation-induced SH2 domain protein recruitment. This product uses EFC technology. The included cells overexpress a PK-tagged engineered fusion of the catalytic domain of FLT3 to the extracellular ligand binding domain of EGFR alongside an EA-tagged SH2 domain protein. Upon ligand induced receptor activation, cross-phosphorylation of the receptor leads to SH2-EA recruitment and production of EFC signal. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates.
