Trinocular configuration allows for the addition of a camera for digital imaging or video camera.
The diamond shaped base provides stability and hand support whilst samples are manipulated on the stage. The zoom ratio of 1x to 4x gives a magnification of 10x to 40x with the standard 10x eyepieces; both with dioptre compensation. Additional eyepieces and corrective lenses allow for a total magnification range from 2.5 to 120x. Both light sources have variable intensity control. The unit comes with frosted glass stage, a blue filter and a heat filter for the incident light source to prevent overheating of the sample.
