Description

Designed for easy handling and maximum safety in air filtration. Sartorius™ Midisart™ 2000 PTFE Air Filter entirely eliminates moisture breakthrough because of its inherently hydrophobic PTFE membrane reinforced with polypropylene gauze. Stepped hose barb connectors ensure a simple and secure hold.

The Midisart™ filter is the clear choice for small-scale sterile air/gas filtration applications. Superior flow rates and seamless integration into single-use assemblies provide a distinct advantage that directly translates into cost savings.
  • 100% factory integrity tested to ensure inherent quality in every filter prior to use
  • Perfect traceability with optimized product labeling that includes lot and unit numbers
  • Lightweight (only 20g) so it will not weigh down or kink tubing
  • Can be sterilized by autoclaving at 134°C for up to 20 cycles
  • Applications include:
    • In-line sterilization of and particulate removal from air and gases, such as sterilization of air for small fermenters
    • Sterile venting of filling vessels and fermentation carboys, including culture vessels and CO2 incubators (6 to 120 liters)
    • Venting of holding tanks for sterile, distilled water and liquid culture media
    • Autoclave venting
