Description

FB-200 Series Tissue Float Bath designed to assist in tissue preparation in histology and pathology laboratories.

  • Easily adjust temperature between 86 to 158°F (30 to 70°C)
  • The wide-rimmed edge serves as drying surface for processed slides
  • Fast heat up time—heat 2.25 L of water to 45°C within 40 minutes
  • Temperature stability of ±0.5°C
  • Volume: 2 L

Use the tissue float bath before the paraffin sections are placed on slides to prevent wrinkles and folds. The black PTFE interior and rim reduce eye strain by cutting down on glare while improving visibility of tissue sections. White powder-coated aluminum exterior is to keep clean. Safety features include an integrated indicator light alerting you when unit is on, as well as automatic shut-off.

Order bath lid and a thermometer to help maintain desired temperature. Order gelatin to increase surface tension of water in flotation bath.
