The TrueMark PGx SNP + CNV 64 Panel is a pre-spotted 384-well PCR plate that is easy-to-use for low to mid-throughput pharmacogenomics research sample testing applications. The panel includes 56 SNP assays and 2 CNV assays.

This TrueMark™ PGx (Pharmacogenomics) SNP + CNV 64 Panel is offered in pre-spotted 384-well plates, an efficient, easy-to-use format for pharmacogenomics applications. This panel contains 56 TaqMan® DME and SNP genotyping assays in singlicate and two CNV assays in quadruplicates allowing the testing of up to six DNA samples per 384-well plate. The assays were developed to detect polymorphisms in genes encoding drug metabolism enzymes (DMEs) and associated transport proteins. This panel provides coverage of essential, commonly studied markers within CYP2D6, CYP2C19, CYP2C9, DPYD and other important DME and clinical research genes.

Each TaqMan Drug Metabolism and SNP genotyping assay in the panel contains two allele-specific probes and a primer pair to detect the specific SNP target. Both the probes and primers uniquely align within the genome, enabling the TaqMan genotyping technology to provide superior specificity. It is this specificity that allows these assays to detect targets residing in highly homologous gene families that may include pseudogenes. Each copy number assay is combined with a TERT reference assay in a single well to form a duplex assay that is designed to detect copy number variation (CNV) such as deletion, duplication or hybrid alleles.

TaqMan Drug Metabolism and genotyping and CNV assays were developed using a high level of bioinformatics and wet-lab stringency. All assays have passed performance tests involving 180 unique DNA samples from four different populations.

The plate is pre-formatted and inventoried, cost-effective, convenient, and easy-to-use, without the need for expensive robotics. Results are reproducible and consistent across samples, studies, and labs—for the same data quality from plate-to-plate and lot-to-lot, even with different operators.

For fast delivery, all assays in this collection have been manufactured and placed into inventory and are ready to ship at ambient temperature.
