Seabees SP207, is used in Brominating of the aromatic ring provides increased hydrophobicity, and consequently, increased selectivity for hydrophobic molecules versus conventional styrene/DVB synthetic adsorbents like Diaion™ HP20 resin. Sepabeads™ SP-207 was used in kinetic and thermodynamics investigation for adsorption/desorption behavior of anthocyanin pigments. It was used as column packing material for purification of phenolic fraction. It is widely used as a adsorbent for purification in biopharmaceutical applications.
