Macherey-Nagel™ NucleoFast 96 PCR, 96-well ultrafiltration kit for PCR clean up
Description
NucleoFast technology is based on an effective removal of contaminants by means of ultrafiltration, thus eliminating the need for binding or elution steps. NucleoFast is available in convenient kit format, including the NucleoFast 96 PCR plates, necessary buffers and consumables.
During the NucleoFast 96 PCR procedure the PCR sample is applied to the ultrafiltration membrane. Under vacuum or centrifugation contaminants are filtered to waste. The PCR products can be recovered from the membrane after the addition of water or buffer and a short incubation. Mixing for recovery of the PCR products is optional. The protocol can either be performed manually on a vacuum manifold, a microtiterplate centrifuge or automated on common laboratory workstations. NucleoFast is easily adapted to robotic platforms as neither centrifugation nor a reassembly of the vacuum chamber is required during the run. Ready to run protocols are available – for further information please contact our Technical Support team.Kit components: NucleoFast PCR plates, collection plates (U bottom) including adhesive cover seal, buffers.
