Applications
Lysis buffer for extracting proteins from cells. NP40 Cell Lysis Buffer is suitable for the preparation of cell extracts to be analyzed by Antibody Bead Immunoassay, ELISA. This lysis buffer can be used to prepare cell lysates for western blots or immunoprecipitation. It can also be used as a wash buffer for immunoprecipitation reactions.

Solubility
Fully misicible in water.

Notes
This buffer contains: 50mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.4), 1% NP-40, and 5mM EDTA. To use, incubate cells in 5 volumes of buffer on ice for 10-30 minutes.
