Description

Goat Polyclonal Antibody

In direct ELISAs, approximately 50% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse IL-2 R gamma is observed, less than 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) IL-2 R beta is observed, and less than 2% cross-reactivity with rhIL-2 R alpha is observed. Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS. Endoxin level is <1.0 EU per 1 μg of the antibody by the LAL method.

IL2RG is an important signaling component of many interleukin receptors, including those of interleukin -2, -4, -7 and -21, and is thus referred to as the common gamma chain. Mutations in this gene cause X-linked severe combined immunodeficiency (XSCID), as well as X-linked combined immunodeficiency (XCID), a less severe immunodeficiency disorder.
