Description

Sterile pre-plated media using a specialized locking lid plate system. BD BBL™ IC-XT Pack Sanitizer Neutralizing Agar, RODAC™ LL Plates are gamma-sterilized media for detecting microorganisms on surfaces after disinfection.

IC-XT (Isolator Cleanroom-Extended Temperature) Pack products are gamma-sterilized to allow monitoring of environmental and product hygiene in clean rooms of pharmaceutical production and fill rooms, and in isolators.

  • Used for monitoring the efficiency of disinfection in controlled environments
  • For use in replicate organism detection and counting procedures
  • Medium specified in the United States Pharmacopeia and European Pharmacopeia for the total aerobic microbial count testing procedures
  • For surface testing, apply the plate surface directly to the surface being tested and exert moderate pressure (without rubbing or moving the agar surface
  • Areas (walls, floors etc.) may be divided into sections or grids and samples taken from specific points within the grid.

RODAC™ (Replicate Organism Detection And Counting) Locking Lid Media Plates

  • Particularly recommended for monitoring surfaces of sanitary importance
  • Enables convenient handling while reducing the risk of accidental contamination
  • Locking Lid (LL) mechanism allows for easy locking of plates for safe transport
  • Ensures a secure fit between lid and base to prevent unintentional opening of plates
  • Locked plates allow for appropriate aeration during incubation
  • Plates are provided in the unlocked position for easy removal of lid
  • Simply twist the base and the lid into the desired position to lock or unlock plate
  • Packaged in impermeable plastic films to allow an extended stability and storage
