Recombinant Protein

Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (43%), Rat (43%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-57407 (PA5-57407. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.

The protein encoded by this gene contains a RING finger domain, a motif present in a variety of functionally distinct proteins and known to be involved in protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. Pseudogenes of this gene are located on more than six chromosomes including chromosome 4. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified.
