Quantity:
100 μL
Unit Size:
100µL
Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (90%), Rat (90%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-83954 (PA5-83954. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Human Replication Factor C (RFC) is a hetero-pentameric protein consisting of the p140, p40, p38, p37 and p36 subunits. RFC functions in the loading of the DNA polymerase delta processivity factor (PCNA, Proliferating Cell nuclear Antigen) onto a primed DNA template during DNA synthesis and repair. RFC may also participate in the DNA damage checkpoint response with a PCNA-like hetero-trimer consisting of Hus 1, Rad 1 and Rad 9.
