Description
Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (70%), Rat (70%). This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-62021 (PA5-62021. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Putative ribosomal RNA methyltransferase 2 (FTSJ2), also named as FJH1 or Protein FTSJ homolog 2 is a 246 amino acid protein, which belongs to the methyl-transferase superfamily. FTSJ2 localizes in the nucleus and is widely expressed in in muscle, placenta, and heart. FTSJ2 functions as a nucleolar RNA methyl-transferase involved in eukaryotic RNA processing and modification.
