Solveco EA-50 Pap 2A Reagent

OG-EA50 Pap reagent is an alcoholic polychromatic solution designed for use in the Papanicolaou staining method. The first step involves staining the nuclei with a hematoxylin solution, followed by counterstaining. Unlike traditional methods that require three steps, the OG-EA50 Pap reagent streamlines this process into just two steps, as it combines the OG-6 and EA50 reagents. The Orange G component stains the cytoplasm, remaining only in mature, keratinized cells at later stages. The polychromatic EA50 solution targets the non-stained areas of cells, effectively staining squamous cells, nucleoli, cilia, and erythrocytes. This reagent is suitable for both gynecological and non-gynecological samples, including sputum, urine, and cytological puncture specimens. For optimal staining results, OG-EA50 Pap reagent is fully compatible with other BioGnost reagents for cytological smears according to Papanicolaou, such as Hematoxylin HP, Pap 1A, and Hematoxylin HP, Pap 1B reagents.
