Test the pH of soil directly or in a soil slurry prepared with deionized water. Hanna Instruments™ Direct Soil Measurement pH Portable Meter is a durable, waterproof pH and temperature meter with many advanced features that are found in more expensive portable instrumentation.

The HI99121 meter features a large multi-level LCD screen which displays both pH and temperature readings simultaneously. The LCD screen also has indicators for calibration status, battery level and stability, as well as on-screen tutorial messages. The supplied HI1292D pre-amplified pH and temperature probe features a conical, rugged tip that can be directly inserted into moist or soft soil.

  • Conical tip electrode for direct pH measurement of soil
  • Includes a plastic auger to perforate harder soils
  • Built-In temperature sensor for Automatic Temperature Compensation
  • Amplified electrode for fast, stable response immune to electrical noise
  • Precise measurements with 0.01 pH resolution and an accuracy of ±0.05 pH
  • Refill the electrode by turning the cap to allow more reference electrolyte to flow
  • Great for home and professional growers, and environmental monitoring
  • Automatic calibration with buffer recognition
