Description
Description: This 1D12-TIM1 monoclonal antibody recognizes human CD365 also known as Tim-1, Kim-1 or Havcr1. This antibody was generated using the immunoglobulin V domain of the extracellular part of the CD365 receptor, and is predicted to recognize all three haplotypes of human CD365. Clone 1D12-TIM1 has been shown to block entry of HCV virus into human hepatoma Huh7.5 cells in a dose dependent manner. It has been also shown to block the uptake of apoptotic cells by CD365-expressing 769-P cells. Applications Reported: This 1D12-TIM1 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This 1D12-TIM1 antibody has been pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometric analysis of A549 cells. This may be used at 5 μL (0.125 μg) per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test.
