IL-13, eFluor 450, clone: eBio13A, eBioscience™
Rat Monoclonal Antibody
Brand: Affymetrix eBioscience 48-7133-80
Additional Details : Weight : 0.25000kg
DescriptionDescription: The eBio13A antibody reacts with mouse IL-13. IL-13 is a cytokine produced mainly by Th2 cells, but also by antigen-primed CD8 T cells. IL-13 has a strong involvement in allergic inflammation and parasitic clearing and in cancer models has been shown to have either inhibitory or stimulatory activity depending on the tumor. In humans, IL-13 is found to play a role in isotype switching in B cells. IL-13 is implicating in down modulating macrophage activity, through the reduction of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, IL-12)Applications Reported: This eBio13A antibody has been reported for use in intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.Applications Tested: This eBio13A antibody has been tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of Th2-polarized mouse splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 1 μg per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.eFluor™ 450 is an alternative to Pacific Blue™. eFluor™ 450 emits at 445 nm and is excited with the Violet laser (405 nm). Please make sure that your instrument is capable of detecting this fluorochome.Excitation: 405 nm; Emission: 445 nm; Laser: Violet Laser.Filtration: 0.2μm post-manufacturing filtered.
