Designed for laboratory use as an oxidizer, bleaching agent and disinfectant. Hydrogen Peroxide Solution, 35%, USP Grade, Chem-Lab is the simplest peroxide, a strong oxidizer that appears as a clear and slightly viscous liquid. DAB, Ph. Eur., BP, USP

Hydrogen peroxide’s oxidizing properties are so strong that it is considered a highly reactive oxygen species. Due to it being a weak acid, it can form hydroperoxide or peroxide salts. Industrially, it is used for pulp/paper bleaching, in the manufacture of sodium percarbonate and sodium perborate, and in water purification to remove organic impurities and odors.
